Steve Silvestro, MD, FAAP is a pediatrician, consultant, speaker, and healthcare communicator. A graduate of Georgetown University and the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Steve practiced pediatrics for over 11 years. In addition to his work on The Child Repair Guide, Dr. Steve continues to practice as a bone marrow harvesting physician in the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Blood and Marrow Collection Program.
